This CD was commissioned by The Tablet and features its readers’ top 20 favourite hymns. The CD is accompanied by a booklet containing the lyrics of all the hymns as well as exclusive descriptions from contributors, ranging from the composers themselves, such as Daniel Schutte who writes about ‘Here I Am, Lord’, to broadcaster Edward Stourton who voted for 'Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence'.
